Dual CS 420 Turntable
The CS 420 is a turntable in a midi-format from DUAL. Despite the compact design it has an outstanding technology "Made in Germany".
E.g. an ultra light tonearm is used on which the tracking force and the antiskating force could be adjusted. Thereby it has the possibility to improve the sound quality by using a high-grade cartridge and to test cartridges according to the personal taste of music.
Through the floated subchassis the platter and the tonearm are completly uncoupled from the chassis and from the motor. Pertubation are avoided and the sound structure becomes "smooth". Of course, the CS 420 has an automatic start- and stop function for a comfort handling. Through it's midi design the turntable suits for customers, who have not much space but don't want to disclaim on the sound quality
Tonearm technology
Weight balanced tone arm. Counterweight and anti-skating adjustable. Headshell with 13mm (1/2-inch) - fixing holes. Torsion headshell.
Chassis technology
Solid wooden chassis. Floating sub chassis. Aluminium platter with antistatic felt mat.
Drive technology
Belt drive with polished flat belt. DC motor with electronic speed control. Viscosity-damped arm lift. Automatic tone arm cue. Auto Stop with tone arm return. Supplied with magnetic Audio Technica AT-91 Cartridge.
