We needed a new drive belt as a repair technician ‘helpfully’ replaced our original belt ‘with one that fitted’. It didn’t fit. And it was non-branded. We found the right belt, a Thorens-own product, on Analogue Seduction, and paid a reasonable price. It arrived within five days, protected and sealed, and trackable online. We fitted it, it works!

If you have a Manticore Mantra this is the belt you need.

Replaced a worn belt which immediately removed some wooliness from the sound, particularly in the bass. I can't stress enough the importance of regular checks for a stretched belt, it really does impact the sound.

I've tried third party drive belts, which fail quite quickly particularly at 45 RPM.

These genuine Thorens belts, although they will stretch in time are far superior.

I’ve had my TD160 from new in the early ‘70’s and have at last installed a new belt. Makes a heck if a difference! Wish I’d done it years ago. Great service from Analogue Seduction.
