Luphonic K2 Tonearm
The K2 rotary tonearm is a completely in-house development by LUPHONIC. The aim was to develop a high-quality tonearm with which the two record players H1 and H2 could form a tonal symbiosis.
The bearings of the gimbal suspension are made using precise miniature ball bearings. The arm tube is made of low-resonance carbon and is partly responsible for the tonal strengths of this tonearm. The same goes for the headshell, which, after many attempts, is made of sintered polyamide filled with tiny glass balls. This achieves a high level of rigidity despite the low weight and at the same time the material prevents the spread of resonances that are harmful to the sound.
The K2 offers convenient and variable adjustment of the tonearm height, tracking force, azimuth and anti-skating force. The stainless steel counterweight can be used to balance most pickups available on the market with a weight between 5g and 14g.
The tonearm is also available individually with a length of 9.5 or 12 inches and can be mounted on many record players.
