Rega VTA Arm Height Adjuster

This will not fit the new Planar 2 and 3 turntables

Rega have announced a simple, accurate and cost effective solution to VTA adjustment for their range of 3 point mount arms. Designed with the RB100, RB251 and RB301 in mind and also suitable for the RB700 and RB1000. This attractive unique design offers customers 2mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm adjustment in one simple spacer. Supplied with a set of 30mm screws for use with 6mm and 8mm adjustment to ensure excellent mounting stability to the plinth. Made from highly rigid glass filled plastic this spacer can be easily fitted in under 3 minutes. Simply remove the arm from the plinth, thread the spacer over the external arm lead then re-fit the arm using the required height setting. Simple!

If you're fitting a non Rega cartridge to a Rega tonearm then you will require this to obtain the correct VTA

Easy to install - wished it was metal or aluminium

I needed some washer to raise my RB301 arm by 4mm (on my SOTA deck). Initially considered the "Michell Engineering Rega 3-Point VTA Adjuster 2" which looked to be better made (but yet I cannot figre out if the screws has to be removed when I needed to raise the arm) - I bought this item instead. Easy to install and does the job - I only wised it was more solid like perhaps made from aluminium or metal. Still, for the price it is of good value.

Very nice product

I used this on Rega RP8, initially at 4mm to support Denon 301 MK2, then with Sumiko Blackbird at 6mm. I used the original screws that came on the RP8. There was no change to sound quality.
