Having used other products for years I thought I'd try something else for a change. This is different in that it doesn't stay on the record surface and beads off so you can't soak a record for a few minutes. I now know that this is due to the high purity of the water so there is no surface tension, it works in a different way. The MFSL website explains. It does seem to clean rather well though, a few records had a patchy stain on them which I thought was a vinyl problem and which couldn't be removed by anything else but this cleaner removed it completely.

I only use this when the regular MoFi cleaner might need some help. I have records I bought in the 1960s which play like new pressings after treatment with this stuff.
