When partnered with the C5, and with 65W into 8 Ohms, high current output available, few speakers will give this power amplifier any trouble. It will also outperform any integrated amplifier we know of for the similar money taking up the same space

The P5 is a development of the new range of Bi-polar based power amplifiers and as such is the power amplifier section from our all new IA5. with a signal to noise ratio of almost 100dB for 1W there are very few amplifiers that can offer such silence. With such silence comes a dramatic, dynamic performance which is simply spell binding with musical expression and effortless reproduction of even the most complex of passages. With it’s shoe box size it means that you have the performance advantage of a pre-power with in the same space as a conventional integrated. It also has our optical mute link when used with out C5 matching pre-amplifier, this prevents ground loops between components. Its a no brainer to get back the performance advantage that all Pre-power amplifier offer.
