Powergrip YG-3 Power Conditioner
In simple terms, a Powergrip Power Console cleans the incoming power from the mains supply to remove noise that can affect the performance of your AV system, and protects all the equipment which is connected to it from power surges. HIGH CAPACITY
3680 Watt @230V, 16 Amps. This high power capacity is sufficient to clean and protect the power supply for most high quality stereo, home theatre or custom installation systems. The YG-3 features six special sockets designed to connect power amplifiers.
PROTECTION
In case a very large fluctuation or ‘spike’ in the mains voltage occurs, the internal filter instantly switches the system off – thus preventing damage. In two minutes, the filter will switch the system back on again. Smaller fluctuations or ‘surges’ are suppressed without switching off the system, so you continue to enjoy your music or movies undisturbed.
INTELLIGENCE
POWERGRIP is able to connect and disconnect different groups of sockets to supply power smoothly without abrupt load rises and without annoying clicks coming through the speakers. Each group of sockets can be individually set up.
FILTRATION
The internal filters detect and clean even very small impurities which are transmitted to the system via the mains supply circuits and can affect the user’s enjoyment of their AV system. This filter will also help prolong the life of the components in the connected AV equipment.
INTEGRATION
The unit can be integrated into a smart home system and switched on/off via a 12V trigger or controlled via a standard RS232 interface by compatible control systems.
DESIGN
The elegant brushed black aluminium faceplate has a stylish look and will integrate well into most AV Furniture, and can also be mounted in a professional 19” rack using the brackets supplied. The logical arrangement of the sockets on the rear will also help you to avoid cable-clutter.
