The sound and consistency are AMAZING! Listening to albums on my Pro-ject Debut Carbon EVO have never sounded so good! Who knew that upgrading to this sub platter would make such a difference? I'm hearing my albums fir the first time with such clarity and no flutter or wow. This upgrade is putting my vinyl in a serious competition with digital and would highly recommend this to anyone using a Pro-ject Debut system.

Bought this for my Debut Pro. Fits well and a good upgrade for looks and incremental improvement in sound... Adding Bass and control, added some weight in songs.

I just fitted the X1 aluminium sub-platter in my X1 turntable. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Listening with headphones I notice a subtle but marked improvement: better bass and treble extension and somehow more focused and better saturated sound.

At the risk of sounding extremely unscientific, the improvement in sound that I hear is what you might imagine would be the case when you replace a flimsy, light plastic sub-platter with a heavy, beautifully machined aluminium one...

The disk installed without difficulty.
After the first start:

1) there was a vibration (if you touch the table with your finger).
2) there was a feeling that the disk rotates at a lower speed, sounds slower.
Subsequent launches:
1) disappeared.
2) feelings remained.
3) music playback has changed, it has become smoother (like water flows).

Great product, slotted straight in, works lovely, looks so much better than the original the Project turntable came with.
