The Heed Obelisk SI 3 is as its name suggests, the 3rd version of the SI Obelisk. This although of modest size device since 2008 has gleaned many awards: the latest being a 5 * in the magazine What Hi-fi in 2012.
Please note on the MK3 version of several important developments:
It now delivers even greater power that will control the speakers in the low end, to bring more detail, precision in the midrange, giving better control over the entire sound spectrum.
The general layout has been revised to accommodate the "big" dac card Obelisk DA and simultaneously phono card. You can therefore use this unit with a digital source with a coaxial output. You can also connect the Heed Obelisk SI MK3 your turntable. These cards are of course optional and we graciously take care to install them according to your desire
The main PCB is now double sided with copper tracks 4 times thicker offering more current paths and shortcuts
The front panel has been revised with a particular infrared receiver a little more discreet. You can always, as on the previous version choose the color of your device, black or white.
