For nearly 40 years the AT-91 and AT-95e have been regarded as some of the most versatile cartridges on the market. Fitted to Audio Technica's own brand turntables and countless other brands too. Offering exceptional performance for a budget cartridge. The all new VM95 series builds on that legacy and improves in every way. Introducing the all new, Audio Technica AT-VM95C.
With all the new VM95 series you can purchase the cartridge to fit on your own headshell, or purchase it with the cartridge mounted in the Audio Technica AT-HS6BK Headshell.
This VM95 Series cartridge with 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical nude stylus fits half-inch mount turntables. The cartridge offers excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. The durable, low-resonance housing includes threaded inserts that enable the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell with just two screws – no nuts required. And since all VM95 Series share the same body, the stylus can be replaced with any of the six interchangeable AT-VMN95 replacement styli.
I needed something reasonably priced but with decent performance and light tracking to replace my old Ortofon. This is my first nude stylus and I am very impressed so far, even though it isn't properly run in yet. I am looking forward to some serious listening after I have done this. It already sounds wonderful and I'd recommend the 95EN to anyone who is looking for something in that price range,

This cartridge sports a nude mounted diamond elliptical stylus which moves into a different class to the cheaper VM95E. Overall the sound is full and clear with rich base and high levels of detail in both midrange and treble. Stereo separation is very well presented and transient performance is also of a high standard The real benefit from this upgrade stylus, however, is the dramatic reduction if sibilance and grittiness in the high-frequency range when compared with the cheaper version, or with most of its rivals. Being low/medium compliance this cartridge works very well with the typical medium sophistication tone arms found on budget turntables like the ATlp3, and probably enables the best sound quality attainable from them.

I have used this AT-VM95EN for about 15 hours and so far I find this to be an excellent MM cartridge. The treble is crystal clear and the mid- range is tight and precise while the bass is deep and warm. A real bargain at this modest price. I will purchase again.
