What can you say about a drive belt, you need it for your turntable and why would it change? Due to improvements of materials and manufacturing processes, Rega have been looking for a way to increase performance of their belts and improve longevity. Instantly reducing any wow and flutter, the new EBLT has been born from 4+ years of extensive testing and will now be fitted to all Planar 1, 2, 3 and 6 turntables.

The new Advanced EBLT is compatible with all legacy Rega models, with the exception of the original Planet (from the early 70's)

Perfect Fit on Rega RP1

I bought this as a replacement for the original drive belt on my 2012 Rega RP1.

It fits perfectly: I can't perceive any improvement in sound, but assuming it lasts as long as the old one it should be good value.

...is all I can say about a drive belt really. The old belt on my ancient RP2 was a little loose - had lost some elasticity. The new one feels more 'taut'.

Picked it up cheap at a car boot, ran ridiculously slow, ordered this belt, still ran erratically...replaced motor upgrade, belt is now producing perfect performance!

Excellent upgrade

I have a non-Rega turntable that uses two Rega belts. I was using the previous white upgrade belts. It has a 10kg Acetal platter and relies more on torque than momentum to keep spinning. When you turn it on it helped to give it a helping push to get going. These belts now make that unnecessary. They clearly have a firmer grip. That can only help performance.
