Orb Jade to Go - White Developed from our popular USB DAC & Headphone Amplifier JADE, we are proud to present the new JADE to go. By combining a highly rigid aluminum body with a design based on simplicity and elegance we have achieved a genuinely high quality amplifier, from the acrylic plate exterior to the pure and intense sound. The two AA standard sized batteries current is boosted to 9V improving convenience and usability. To prevent the boosting circuit’s switching noise to affect sound quality the audio signal have been disassociated from the high frequency noise. Keeping the audio signal unaffected, we have been able to minimize high frequency noise with specific noise reduction components. The usage of 9V has raises the voltage rejection ratio of each part compared with using two size AA batteries without the current boost. In order to improve the ability of a low power battery to produce a rich bass register we have introduced a 1,000 μF electrolytic capacitor to lower the power supply output impedance, thus achieving a high power response. This no compromise design has been thoroughly checked and its parts repeatedly tested to create a truly well balanced head phone amplifier. The layout consists of DIP especially selected to optimize performance and to achieve the highest signal to noise ratio possible. In true high end audio ORB-style, using our knowledge and carefully selected and matched accessories we have taken another step forward in sound quality. The newly designed “bass boost feature” with which, depending on the music source, it is possible to obtain more dynamics and depth.
