Works Perfectly on both 33 and 45 speeds 06 April 2023 | Tom
Lets start off with the data. The belt measures 0.180" wide and 0.030" thick.
After changing my 6 year old belt with a lot of miles on it, I was astonished how quite the floor noise was. I should have changed it years ago. If you start to hearing the motor through your speakers, first check your suspension setup and if you still hear it this maybe be your next step to achieve almost no drivetrain sound through your speakers.

It seems to work perfectly and its great to be able to listen to my old records again, after 20 years in storage1!

Have got a Systemedek X11 900 which is 18 years old, haven't used the deck for about 4 years, got back into vinyl. Found that the old belt kept slipping on 45 rpm, put new belt on and works perfectly.

Unfortunately I decided to purchase expensive original belt as opposed to the cheaper versions, but the result in the same - still will not stay on at 45RPM.

Ok its not cheap but it's thicker and not nearly as stretchy as those cheap imitations. Also why scrimp on a cheap slipping belt when you invest in tone arm re-wires, new power supplies, plinths, cartridges...! Worth it just for peace of mind that you're getting constant speed and far less likely to slip off.

Replacement of the original drive belt after 30 years of more or less continuous use has returned the Systemdek 3 to its imperious best. And it's quick and easy!

My Systemdeck had been restored to full working order after years of occasional use. Belts from other retailers had tended to slip and even come off! I was contemplating purchase of a new turntable but this was money well spent!
