Ortofon 2M Mono Stylus Replacement

I purchased this as it was interchangeable with my existing Ortofon Bronze Cartridge, and I have many Mono pressings mainly Jazz going back to the 1950's.
Previously I had just used the Mono switch on my Icon Audio preamp, but once the Mono stylus was in place there was a noticeable improvement.
Sound was fuller and richer, and there was a marked reduction in surface crackle, pardon the non technical description, just going on the evidence of my own ears.
Really glad I purchased this
