Hi-Fi Racks X50 Small Speaker Stands

I bought a pair of these for my Elac DBR62s as I’d been using some mdf stands from Amazon with Isoacoustics 155 isolators between the stand and speakers.

So, these are easy put together, the craftsmanship is outstanding and putting them together took 10 to 15 minutes.

First I tried them with the Isoacoustics then without, definitely better bass definition and less harshness in the treble without the Isoacoustics.

Comparing them to the Amazon stands, there’s less harshness and bass boom…I’d began to think this sound was a characteristic of the Elacs….thankfully it isn’t.

So all the bass boom I’d had has gone, it’s much more balanced and sweeter sounding.

I also found that swapping the little sticky isolators that come with the stands for thin 1cm diameter cork pads improved the sound again. Better bass definition again.

So to sum up, I’m a very happy bunny and I’d better start saving for the rack.

I recently purchased these speaker stands from Hifi racks; an unknown company to me up until very recently. The service from Martin at Analogue Seductions was first rate; friendly, accommodating and efficient.
The stands came extremely well packed and were assembled and ready for use within an hour. They are superbly finished, clearly made by people who take pride in their work, look great with my Neat sx3s and definitely improve sonic performance.

I can’t recommend these highly enough, they are superb and also look great in our lounge. Buy with confidence!
