Pro-Ject High Power-It

Ordered as part of a rehab of a badly mishandled NAD 558 & zero regrets—one less wall wart clogging up space, altho this is ultimately larger it can be more easily placed to keep it out of the way & I doubt anyone will regret getting this for a cheap & easy upgrade for any compatible pro-ject deck.

Good value. Easy to fit. Makes a positive difference to sound quality with more defined bass and an overall richer tone.

I wanted the Pro-Ject High Power-it to go with my newly purchased X2 turntable, but couldn’t find a US vendor who had it in stock. Analogue Seduction had it in stock. They shipped it immediately and I received it very quickly…especially considering it was an international shipment. Great vendor with great service! Thanks

This works great with my Pro-Ject X2 turntable. It upgrades the power wart that comes with the X2. It claims to help with grounding issues, but I doubt it actually does that. I wanted it in order to guarantee a stable motor speed so you don't hear any hint of warble in your records. It comes with the UK power plug, but you can just replace that with any standard PC-like power cable. Works great.

Bought this to replace stock power cable on Pro-Ject X1. Definite increase in sound quality across all frequencies. Very impressed, simple upgrade.

The sound has changed, the sound has become cleaner, I like it.
Although I might be mistaken(the placebo effect).

I have an EAT B-Sharp turntable that suffered from similar ground noise issues to what I had read some Pro-Ject turntables suffer from.

As it turns out few of my stereo components are earthed and so simply by replacing the standard power supply with this, it has resolved my hum issues, very happy.
