Room correction has never been used in stereo systems because the systems available change the characteristics of the speakers. RoomPerfect is the only system which preserves the sound of the speakers used making it the only correction system suitable for audiophiles.

The MP-40 surround sound processor from Lyngdorf Audio offers all the sonic qualities and performance of the flagship processor, the MP-60, in a streamlined design for smaller applications. Ease of installation and user-friendly features are complemented with a simplified feature allowing the chance for one to experience the performance that Lyngdorf Audio is famous for without all the bells and whistles.

State-of-the-art HDMI processing

The MP-40 features 12 native channel decoding and 16 balanced audio outputs. The MP-40 offers full support of the immersive surround formats DOLBY ATMOS, DTS:X and AURO-3D.

RoomPerfect Room Correction

The MP-40 is equipped with Lyngdorf Audio’s proprietary RoomPerfect calibration technology, the world’s most sophisticated technology for adapting the sound system to the environment. The RoomPerfect calibration ensures a perfect surround sound experience in nearly any installation environment reducing or even eliminating bulky bass traps and other expensive acoustic treatment.

Media Player

The MP-40 features a built-in media player, which connects to services such as Spotify and Airplay, as well as internet radio. Through a cabled network or USB connector, you can access your library of music and enjoy it in stereo or as up-mixed to a surround sound format.

Control At Your Fingertips

The Lyngdorf Remote Application automatically discovers the MP-40 connected to your local network, and you will be able to adjust all the basic functions like input selection and volume level from your handheld device. The built-in media player can be controlled directly, and you can access music files stored on pen drives connected to the Lyngdorf MP-40 as well as search all files stored on your local hard drives. Swiping left and right gives you access to cover art as well as informing you of the signal resolution. The Lyngdorf Remote Application is available for free download from both IOS and Android.

Immersive Surround Sound

The MP-40 offers full support of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D, as well as legacy surround sound formats. The processor features 16 balanced XLR outputs and can output 12 unique channels. The remaining 4 outputs can be used for additional speakers or woofers.
