The Melody Action Evo integrated tube amplifier is part of the entry-level Action amp series. This tube amp offer an output power of 2x 40 watts Class A amplification. The Melody Action series also includes the Class A Action and the Class AB ULTRA. All of these offer great sound for great value.
It is driven by 4x EL34 power amplification tubes and with it’s 2x 40 watts a great tube amp to get familiar with tube amplification. Take a look at our tubes page to see an overview of all tubes and their specific sound in the amps. The Action EVO model is best paired with speakers that have a low sensitivity (well under 85dB) that require quite some power. However, because of their high wattage they can drive a very wide range of speakers without much distortion.
Unlike the rest of all Melody amps the Action series has a more gray/black finish and is purely made out of metals. Giving the amp a very rugged and solid look. Because of it’s reasonable size the amp can fit nicely in every hifi setup and add to the aesthetics without being in-your-face bulky.

Melody Hifi produces all amps by hand with the finest point-to-point wiring. Bias control is accessible on top of the amplifier panel with true ampere meter.
The Melody Action has a soft start and time-delay circuit of 30 seconds.
