Audiophile-Grade Fuses, Your system will play with increased power, dynamics, clarity, and coherence.
(Details shown apply to the default selection)
The impact on your sound can best be described as a highly musical and very detailed, dynamic and fast sound. In fact, the good properties of both the Ultimate² and the Furutech fuses come together in this fuse. In these fuses, the caps as well as the melting wire consist of 99% pure silver and 1% of gold, brought together in a black ceramic tube. Of course, this fuse was cryogenically treated. They are fully hand-built in Germany.
Certainly, the fuses inside your audio & video equipment are amongst the most underestimated components. These very cheap components have, in the first place, to carry all current that is withdrawn from the mains. Under most circumstances, much money was invested already inexpensive to very expensive power cords. No further comments will be necessary to explain, that these crappy fuses will be a bottleneck in your system...
Relatively big enhancements can be achieved with little effort when replacing the stock fuses with fuses that are designed specifically for audio/video systems.
Available in following current ratings: 100ma, 160 mA, 200 mA, 250 mA, 315 mA, 400 mA, 500 mA, 630 mA, 800 mA, 1 A, 1.25 A, 1.6 A, 2 A, 2.5 A, 3.0A, 3.15 A, 4 A, 5 A, 6.0A, 6.3 A, 7.0A, 8 A, 10 A.

Loving these fuses in my DAC!!! It’s incredible how much of an improvement they make for less than the price of an entry level power cable upgrade.
The fuses took a while to run in, when first installed ('upgrade' from Supreme silver-gold) the sound was a bit 'splashy' in the treble region. After about a 100 hours the sound has richer bass and increased detail in the treble. Only issue I have is on some CDs the treble is still a little bright, hopefully with a few more hours of run-in this will disappear. Also surprising is the fact these fuses appear to be a significant upgrade from the silver-gold supremes, it could be that age has caught up with my silver-gold supremes(more than 5 years old).I still have not installed the fuses for my power amp, only upgraded my disk player, subby and power regenerator.

Others with systems 'on a knife edge' will know that otherwise small changes can be rather large. So, fuses. These are good; excellent, in fact. Kind of like AMR (which I rate), but with more focus. IMO, better than the supremes: copper just sounds more like neutral than anything with silver. Took about 100 hours to settle down, mind.

I have heard about after market fuses for a while now but was a bit skeptical,After a few tweaks to my set up i thought id give it a try,to my surprise the system now sounds smoother, more effortless and more dynamic ,no it is not a laid back smoothness more one of less distortion and edge to music,i wont talk about texture of bass etc all i can say is compared to stock fuse these supreme 3 copper definitely makes an improvement to what was already there, more musical, better air and more detail ,highly recommended ,thanks you analogue seduction for sharing these

Class D power amplifiers can be somewhat ardent in the treble region. The XTZ Edge A-2 300 is a no-brainer when collating price and performance, but needs some tuning to sound its best. The tiny fuse is always a good place to start, and the HiFi Tuning Supreme 3 Copper seemed an affordable alternative, though I did not have any prior experience with this series from HiFi Tuning. The Edge was bought for bi-amping, leaving it to my valve-amp to deliver midrange and up. However, the Edge now temporarily serves as fullrange amp, and I have to admit I could easily live with it as such. The Supreme 3 Copper fuse helps bringing out a full-bodied chest timbre, and the treble energy is better controlled than with the standard fuse, making the amp produce a presentation more airy and spatious than treblewise peculiar. It might be that copper fuses are better suited for use in Class D amps than fuses with more precious metals in them, but that is an hypothesis I would have to test. Leaving that for later, I may sincerely recommend the HiFi Tuning Supreme 3 Copper fuse for use in any high grade audio equipment.
