Gold plated headshell wire connecting clip for cartridges with 1.2 mm. connecting pins (the standard dimension).
Bought these after accidentally pulling one of the clips of my Rega arm. I was annoyed as I hate soldering. When I opened the packet I struggled to find them. Anyway after studying the clips I noticed that soldering was not required. Just clean back the wire and fit them. Then when in place, give a slight squeeze with the pliers. These are the easiest clips I've ever fitted. They fit nice and tight on the cartridge. I'm very pleased with them and certainly recommend them. 10/10

Thicker wire has less resistance, the same applies to cartridge tags. Those cheap duck bill tags have only two small contact points, these have three long contacts. You need a contact at least equal to the cross section of the arm leads , otherwise it's a restriction. Your signal is only as good as it's weakest link. No point losing it before it gets to the wires. Do yourself a favor, fit these.
