I can’t fault these on quality as they are nice Ans substantial. The fit onto the 2M Black I have is perfect and better than the standard leads that came with the Technics SL1200 GR. However, I made the mistake of NOT testing these in isolation, instead, relocating the turntable, adding a new “VibroStop” platter mat and these leads. Therefore not testing the leads alone. However, I can comment on the quality and it is high. These are heavier than the original leads so if purchasing, remember to compensate by adjusting the tracing weight etc.

great upgrade

I installed a new ortofon 2m black (used a shure vst v (jico stylus) & denon dl110) on my linn akito (linn lp 12 sondek) replacing the original supplied ones (25 years old). Leads are probably too long for the akito due to its short headshell and installation was tricky (7 - 8 mm between pins). Initially (taking into account it takes at least 25 hrs to burn in the ortofon) the sound is much more open, more resolved, more detailed, with deeper and tauter bass. I would have preferred shorter leads but I dont think there are any available for this sort of performance.
