Developed from their popular USB DAC & Headphone Amplifier JADE, Orb are proud to present the new JADE to go.

By combining a highly rigid aluminum body with a design based on simplicity and elegance they have achieved a genuinely high quality amplifier, from the acrylic plate exterior to the pure and intense sound.

The two AA standard sized batteries current is boosted to 9V improving convenience and usability. To prevent the boosting circuit’s switching noise to affect sound quality the audio signal has been disassociated from the high frequency noise. Keeping the audio signal unaffected, Orb have been able to minimize high frequency noise with specific noise reduction components.

The usage of 9V raises the voltage rejection ratio of each part compared with using two size AA batteries without the current boost. In order to improve the ability of a low power battery to produce a rich bass register Orb have introduced a 1,000 μF electrolytic capacitor to lower the power supply output impedance, thus achieving a high power response.

This no compromise design has been thoroughly checked and its parts repeatedly tested to create a truly well balanced headphone amplifier. The layout consists of DIP especially selected to optimize performance and to achieve the highest signal to noise ratio possible.

In true high end audio ORB-style, using their knowledge and carefully selected and matched accessories they have taken another step forward in sound quality.

With the newly designed “bass boost feature”  it is possible to obtain more dynamics and depth.
