Edwards Audio IA2-R Mk2 Integrated Amplifier
The IA2-R Mk2 is a development of our original Mk1 version with an improved transformer, better PCB layout to reduce noise further and we have added a cosmetic front panel frame to enhance it’s appeal.
The sound quality has been improved to make it a must listen in its category, we believe that with most speakers, like our popular SP2’s and TT2 turntable as a source this unimposing little amplifier will astonish you with its dynamic, musical and accurate rendition. It has enough power for most average listening rooms however should you wish to take thinks to the next level you can add a P2 power amplifier via it’s pre-out function to create a bi-amped system of astonishing performance.
The remote functions include Volume +/- and mute and are operated by the accompanying handset or you can use any standard app that outputs RC5 codes. It has a 3.5mm stereo jack input on the rear panel for use with portable media devices plus 3 other inputs on RCA phono sockets at line level. For use with Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges there is an optional RIAA input board, this allows for reproduction via a turntable without the need for an external phono stage.
