Luxman D-N150 Player with DAC

Luxman D-N150 CD Player with DAC caters to music-lovers who want to play compact disc and high-res audio sources in exceptional quality. From the NeoClassico II range, D-N150 fuses audiophile design with excellent flexibility through a 5mm thick aluminum chassis, internal parts chosen via extensive listening tests plus coax, optical and USB digital inputs for converting hi-res audio to unconstrained analogue sound.

CD transport and DAC

D-N150 inherits the CD transport from Luxman’s highly regarded D-380. Carefully tested parts include the power transformer, filtering capacitors, Schottky barrier diodes and proprietary OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) wire. Texas Instruments PCM5102A digital-to-analog converter facilitates a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB presenting music with near absolute silence in ambience.

Inputs with Bulk Pet transfer

You can exploit the digital-to-analog converter integrated into the D-N150 to replicate external sources. Coaxial and optical inputs accept S/PDIF signals up to 192 kHz/24 bits while the USB input supports personal computer PCM signals up to 192 kHz/32 bits.

D-N150 is the first Luxman unit to accommodate Bulk Pet transmission on top of conventional, isochronous USB transfer to gain excellent sound by lowering the processing load on the DAC. Optical output lets you use D-N150 as a sole DAC hub.

High-grade remote control

The high-grade aluminum remote controls not only the D-N150 digital player but also volume on the matching　SQ-N150 amplifier.

Understated design

D-N150 has a compact “A4” footprint excluding protruding parts. The 5mm thick aluminum chassis implements an elegant, blasted white finish with hairline finished controls provide a subtle contrast between white and silver.
