Shun Mook’s experience with ebony material lead them to the development of a phono cartridge whose body and internal parts were all made from a specially treated black ebony. In order to make the tiny parts no cost is spared to obtain micro machines to fabricate the SM parts.

Shun Mook work closely with ZYX Corp of Japan and use their best R-1000 engine as the core of the cartridge.Each unit is then painstakingly tuned by actual listening in our preference Hi Fi system. This process usually takes about 20 hours.

For analogue fanatics, this is a cartridge to behold.
