Cartridge Man MusicMaster Phono Cartridge

The MusicMaster cartridge is the product of a steady programme of refinement, it has taken approximately fifteen years of development to create the Mk III version.

Superseding both the Classic and Classic LE, the Cartridge Man MusicMaster Phono Cartridge not only combines the best qualities of the earlier units, but also has been further refined by the addition of a unique micro-stylus with an exceptionally sophisticated profile as well as other improvements regarding the integrity of the body structure and coil insulation.

The advantages of the new design are very noticeable; higher resolution allows more information and detail to be preserved in the audio quality while excellent sound-stage and greater dynamics facilitate the overall improvement of signal-to-noise ration.

A master in the true sense of the word

All my 'digital' years I was looking for true dynamics in music reproduction which I had lost when leaving analogue music in '86. I spend more than 30 years and thousands of euro's and failed. Returning to vinyl was the second best step I took to fall in love with music all over again (I'm 57 summers young). The best step was mounting the MusicMaster!

My Quad ESL-63 electrostats have never ever sounded so alive as they now. I use two 50 W class A / 200 W class A/B monoblocks to create an accurate sound pressure (and knock the dust out of the membrane's too .

For the first time in my life I'm content with the way the musicians are able to communicate with me as the listener. All the numerous little musical clou's are revealed to me, recreating the feeling the artists has put into their performance.
