Great upgrade
25 April 2021  |

I've bought this cartridge as an upgrade for my AT LP120X turntable, which ships with a cheaper VM95E. The shibata stylus makes a huge and clear difference in terms of sound quality. Much more open sound, more dynamics and, probably most of all, much less inner grooves distortion even on some problematic LPs I have. Would recommend.

starting in this world of turntables, my limited spleen after buying an excellent but vintage yamaha px3 forced me out of the desired MC league.
looking at the MM world the AT dual moving magnet seduced me because it mimics the cutting process. nice and clean sound i assume it is because the shibata point, very happy with the purchase
