Michell Engineering Banana Plugs (set of 4)

The quality of the connector is usually underestimated. But we know from experience how much sonic difference there is between a tight connection and a pair of surfaces that are just touching.

One major advantage of these gorgeously-machined gold-plated connectors (made in England by J.A. Michell is that they can be fastened with no tools.

Uses a piston to press the cable tightly to the contact area, while also expanding the plug’s diameter for a very tight fit into the speaker or amplifier terminal. These plugs truly represent excellent value for money. Four per set.

Supplied as 2 red and 2 black

Well made (as you would expect from Michell Engineering) and nice snug fit into the back of the amp. Particularly like the ‘piston’ idea for securing the speaker wires. Didn’t break the bank either.

Michell Banana Plugs

These closely resemble those bought 15 years ago as "Ixos" plugs, and were bought to match them so as to "even up" the bi-wiring on one of my systems, which they appear to do perfectly.
