This cable performs way beyond its price point would suggest. They are very neutral and focused sounding and simply get on with banging out the music no more, no less. We have tried them in a variety of different systems and we love what they do!

For the best results, the signal must travel in the direction of the arrow near the centre of the cable. The grip in the phono plugs is adjustable enabling you to get the best possible fit.

Smooth and insightfull

After all the good reviews in magazines I thought I would try a 1m pair of these.

First off, these have a very even handed balance. Bass is tight and timing is good. Midrange is insightful. Treble is smooth and treble peaking is controlled.

On the downside, all this smoothness and control comes at the expense of dynamics. During a late listening test with 2 other audiophiles this aspect was not subtle. My other Merlin and Audioquest cables (both cheaper) literally blew the Telluriums away with regards to Micro and Macro dynamics. Also their treble detail is not fantastic.

The Tellurium Blacks are probably the smoothest cables I have tried, but they lack verve in a dynamic system, so by my standards they are unsuitable and rather overpriced.
