Chord Company ShawlineX ARAY Analogue Interconnects

Our unique ARAY technology cables are hand built, with precision, in the UK. ShawlineX RCA features the latest XLPE insulated, silver-plated conductors and a composite shield that works over a wide bandwidth.

ShawlineX RCA cables are turntable-ready as standard.

Fitted with Chord VEE 3 ChorAlloy™plated RCA plugs and available in 0.5 and 1m standard lengths with custom lengths/terminations to order including tone arm and mini-jack options.

Chord Company Shawline range places refinement and sophistication centre stage. A wide variety of analogue and digital connections are available alongside the latest XLPE insulated speaker cable. The range now boasts a dedicated tone arm cable, HDMI AOC, speaker cable and an updated power cable with multiple connector options. Our unique ARAY geometry is applied wherever possible along with increasingly complex layers of shielding.

A really genuine upgrade

This product requires a bit of a burn in before it reaches its full potential but when it does the transformation is remarkable. I have a cable that costs nearly £200 more than the Shawline but is outclassed in everyway by this interconnect. I immediately perceived a remarkable amount of detail particularly with percussion instruments. It was a sort of 'I don't remember hearing that before' experience. There is an overall considerable improvement in every part of the frequency range. Bass in particular has a very nice tight and clear thump through the speakers and is very clearly articulated. This is a very fine product and the £200 cost is completely justified. Although the Chord company is just down the road from me I have never really considered their products before. I will now.
