Merlin Cables Scorpion Analogue Interconnects
Formerly our top of the range 'Dragon' interconnect, the latest Scorpion Interconnect is simply a re-naming as we have finally managed to produce a superior product. The now called Scorpion MK5 builds even further and combines all of the technologies seen in the lower models. It consists of 18 x HCT & IRC Oxygen Free Copper Conductors arranged in opposing helical spiral's just like the Scorpion but it also features our very highest spec DOUBLE ENHANCED NAS technology treatment which offers our highest level of RF & EM suppression in an interconnect just like Vivaldi. Like Vivaldi the Scorpion Interconnect is also fully screened with the highest quality thick copper foil screen to ensure no unwanted interference is picked up.
The Scorpion FE increases further on the interference rejection principles and includes a ferrite filter on the cable. This non intrusive technique helps to further reduce RF and EM interference being picked up and transferred by your cables.
Scorpion Interconnect cables are now terminated with WBT-0152cu Gold Plated Copper Locking RCA plugs to provide a stunning connection quality over and above Verdi/Vivaldi and most other models on the market. Scorpion Interconnect is also available as a balanced XLR version.This latest spec Scorpion Interconnect represents a higher quality of signal transfer than all models below it and until recently the best we could manage. The sound it gives is beautifully clean and rhythmic with great definition and depth with a sweet but detailed clarity and truly high end refinement and class. Everything normally associated with Merlin Cables and we are very proud of the levels of sound we achieve with this product.
