Merlin Cables Dragon FE Analogue Interconnects
Our new top of the range 'Dragon' interconnect is an entirely hand built cable. It builds on all of the technologies seen in the lower models and pushes them to their limits in terms of performance. It consists if 3 individual runs of 8 x HCT & IRC Oxygen Free Copper Conductors twisted to make up each channel of the interconnect. Internally each of the pieces has 6 conductors arranged in an alternating spiral and they all pass though our very highest spec DOUBLE ENHANCED NAS technology treatment which offers our highest level of RF & EM rejection and suppression in an interconnect. Like both Scorpion and Vivaldi the Dragon Interconnect is also fully screened, but what makes it special is the individual screening on each part with the highest quality thick copper foils to ensure absolutely no unwanted interference is picked up.
The Dragon FE increases further on the interference rejection principles and includes a ferrite filter on the cable. This non intrusive technique helps to further reduce RF and EM interference being picked up and transferred by your cables.
These cables are then terminated with the very best plugs available, using WBT-0152 Silver Nextgen RCA Plugs the very highest connection quality is achieved just like all other Dragon Products. Dragon Interconnect is also available as a balanced XLR version.This latest spec Dragon Interconnect represents our highest quality of signal transfer. The sound it gives is beautifully clean and rhythmic with great definition and depth with a sweet but detailed clarity and truly high end refinement and class. Everything normally associated with Merlin Cables and we are very proud of the levels of sound we achieve with this product.
