The Tannoy Platinum B6 speakers are two-way bookshelf speakers, ideal for medium rooms, and can easily be placed on a shelf or dedicated speaker stand. The 6.5 inch midrange/bass driver delivers an outstanding performance, capturing all the music’s dynamics and articulation with ease.
With the Platinum B6, hear all your music come to life in a rich sonic experience. For high frequencies, a 1 inch silk dome tweeter is employed in the Platinum B6s, producing smooth and detailed sound. The custom designed Tannoy crossover allows each driver to perform to their best. Neodymium magnets are used to drive the speakers for a strong magnetic field and authentic reproduction.
For bass reinforcement, the Tannoy Platinum B6 speakers are rear ported, featuring a bass reflex system to extend the bass reproduction for deep, impactful low frequencies. The front baffle of the B6 bookshelf speakershave been designed to be free of visible screws and have magnetic grilles. This presents a clean look for the modern designed speakers, with a veneer trim. The cabinet is heavily braced to reduce vibrations from the speakers, creating a clearer, more focused sound.
