Mission QX-S Series QX-12 Subwoofer
Mission QX-12 12" Subwoofer has a striking look and impressive performance. It merges advanced engineering with an appealing and unique design that perfectly suits modern homes. The front panel aesthetics hint at the complex technology within the speakers.
Reverse Geometry Driven
Mission QX-12 uses classic IDG (Inverted Driver Geometry) driver format. By positioning the treble unit under the bass/midrange driver, the length of path is equalized so the sound waves coincide at head height improving ‘time alignment’.
New “Ring Dome” Treble
New ‘ring dome’ treble unit grants high musical detail with low distortion which wholly avoids the typical dome cavitation effects. Dual ring radiator is Mission’s patented ‘ring dome’ using a woven, textile material in a double ring formation. This combination enables maximum stiffness to the radiating area. Twin rear cavity non-reflecting design means back pressure from the diaphragm is vented to the cavity lowering resonance for a wide operating bandwidth.
Mission DiaDrive System
Lifelike midrange quality with superb bass transient impact is provided by a seam-free curvilinear cone formed from a mix of soft pulp and acrylic fiber purpose built for midrange clarity and lucidity.
DiaDrive Twin Cone Design
Backing the curvilinear front cone is a stiff, conical support with improved area of contact with the voice coil for remarkable transient impact.
The drive unit surround and fixing screws are smartly concealed behind the distinct trim design giving a highly technical aesthetic to the front panel of the speaker.
