For the ultimate performance use with the Vibrapod Cones.
Vibrapods improve the performance of All HI-FI and A/V components by removing unwanted vibrations. Pop a set (4) of these feet underneath an Amplifier, CD Player, DAC , Pre-amp, Power Amp, Phono Stage, Speakers, Turntable, AV receiver etc, to be rewarded by cleaner sound and sharper video images to insure the highest level of musical and video performance.
Vibrapods are the most affordable vibration feet. These very effective dampers have been highly recommended by The Absolute Sound and Stereophile, among other publications. What appears to be just another rubber foot is actually a sophisticated design specifically engineered to efficiently dissipate vibrational energy. The Vibrapod traps air underneath its rubber body which it uses to isolate your component from external vibrations, much in the way of much more expensive air platforms. They come in 5 models based on weight capacity, A pack of 4 supporting from 3.6 Kg to 50.80 Kg in weight.. From lightweight electronics to heavy speakers, the Vibrapods will improve dynamics, imaging and soundstaging. Our Best-Selling Tweak!
Very happily surprised by these ! Decided that I would investigate some isolation techniques as a recent repositioning of equipment has led to problems with my deck. For some strange reason I began with the cd player and Dac, cdp on glass shelf and Dac on top of player (mmm ?) , anyway, on advice Gary I ordered the model 1 and positioned 4 under the cdp and 2 under the Dac, now on the glass shelf !. Left in place for 24 hours I put in a cd and thought that it was ok and probably a small improvement. A few minutes later I was very pleasantly surprised as the music just got a whole lot more musical. Will be ordering more in the future, particularly using an acrylic sheet for the turntable. A very cheap and effective upgrade and well worth experimenting.

Moved into a house with suspended wooden floors 10 years ago and have been plagued with overblown bass from my floor standers ever since.I've tried raising them off the floor with screws under the spikes, which helped. Then putting a plinth under each speaker between the screw heads and the spikes, which helped a little more, but nothing cured it.Then I put 4 of these between the plinth and the floor, and the problem had all but vanished!!Now I'm sure the isolation bars and plinths you can buy for £999 or £1200 may be even better, but given the price these simple looking bits of vinyl/rubber/whatever do an excellent job and represent fantastic value.Under my speakers they're significantly superior to sorbothane pads.If you try them, don't be put off by the initial wobble of the speakers - they settle a little in time and are quite stable, but still present a barrier to bass notes transmitting into and becoming overblown by the under floor void.Brilliant, effective and great value

I am using 4 of model 3 type under my Technics SL 1210 and I believe they have made a difference in the sound. The instrument separation is more clear and the soundstage is better. I am hoping to improve it more by putting them under a plinth of MDF as suggested by the manufacturer.
I had my record deck (Thorens TD126Mk.II with original feet) stood on a 3/8" laminated glass shelf which was Bluetacked to a solid hardwood / wall mounted shelf. It sounded good... I put 4 V/Isolators in place of the Bluetack and it sounded superb....Q.E.D.
