Sugden A21L Line Amplifier

The Sugden pure class A design provides affordable high-end performance from a beautifully engineered single box integrated amplifier. The Sudden A21L Line Amplifier Signature Series is designed without a phono stage, although you can purchase a separate Sudden phone stage (A21aPhono) or the A21I Integrated Amplifier. Compact in size with a simple but stylish design, the A21 is possibly the only amplifier you will ever need. With many of the original A21’s still in daily use after fifty years, it could also last a life time. Providing a large soundstage and depth to all types of music, the A21 is an amplifier you can listen to for hours without fatigue. The single ended circuit provides impressive dynamics and incredible bass.

After some months of looking at reviews and with my funds nearly up to where they needed to be I phoned analogue seduction to arrange a listen to four amplifiers.on
On getting there my friend Terry and I were made to feel welcome and with coffee in hand sat down to listen. The first amp we tried was about the same price as the Sugden, A21 signature, the two amps were considerably more expensive, with the Spendor A6R speakers the Sugden was the most engaging foot tapping of all the amps we tried,the sound was crisp clear, wonderful detail and the best bass of all, the sound stage and stereo imaging was good and better than some of the other amps.Analogue Seduction were a pleasure to do business with , I ended up leaving some pennies in the bank as I took advantage of the 6 months interest free credit.
Back home and the Sugden remains a fantastic amplifier and hand made in the UK.
