This serves its purpose well.
What I wasn't pleased with was that it had a round, clear plastic sticker on top of it that had been applied wonky. I thought it must be protective film and attempted to peel it off and was left with sticker residue on the item. Have cleaned it up nicely with alcohol/q tip to a lovely shiny surface, so no idea why they stuck an awful sticker there in the first place. Rant over!

This works perfectly on my RP1 and P3, even with 180G vinyl and a slipmat. I'm seeing a lot of warped heavy weight and colored vinyl lately, right out of the package so this is becoming a required accessory.

Fits to my modified Rega Planar 3 very well. Stock and modified with a fidelity sub platter, it works very well indeed. Vinyl is locked to platter very tightly. Great thing!

Michell R record clamp for Rega P5 23 March 2021 | Ari
Clamp is functioning well even with 180 g thicker vinyls and the use is easy, no wear for the bearings as no power is needed for fixing the clamp. Black top looks good with TT. Clamp is low enough to be able to close the dust cover. Note that this is wide enough and used as a clamp for bended records not as a weight as it is a light vehicle.
All in all a good auxiliary for Rega TTs.

Note - Does not work with 180g vinyl as the protruding spindle is then too short for the clamp to make contact. Works fine though with lower weight records, with increased clarity and timing. As quite a few of my records are heavier it is not always useful. Needs a replacement Rega subplatter to be available.

The perfect clamp for my Rega Planar 3 30 December 2018 | Marco
I'm totally satisfied, the product does its job in a fantastic way, it looks solid and efficient and the sound quality, specially with some warped vinyl, is better than before. I'm using it with every LP and my Rega doesn't suffer anyway for the "extra charge". Recommended!
