Well made, I use it with the Oyaide BR12 mat. I wish it also comes in black though.

Tightens up the bass in particular but also sharpens the clarity of other instruments in the mix.

Fabulous Clamp
10 March 2017  |

This 'Record Clamp' from Analogue Studio looks incredibly stylish and due to its weight, sits very firmly on your vinyl and reduces movement. I have tried numerous Jazz recordings and the difference is very noticeable with a much more tighter bass and deeper tone. 'The Record Clamp' is beautifully finished in silky smooth stainless steel and velvet base. I highly recommend this amazing product from Analogue Studio.

Very good.

This is my favourite clamp/stabilizer so far. I've tried clamps and stabilizers of different sizes and weights and this one, because of its size, height and weight (450gr is suitable for almost every turntable), is the one I like the most. Also the price is right. Analogue Seduction has become one of my preferred online stores, even I do not live in the UK.

Stainless Steel Record Clamp
05 January 2013  |

I gave the clamp a five star rating for the following reasons
Firstly, it is an incredibly well designed, tactile piece of kit.Secondly, it make a real difference to the sound from records. I have used it on my Rega and truly cannot believe the improvement to soundstage and bass response. Finally, it was delivered to time.

The stabilizer is a question of ears a turntable
07 December 2012  |

This item is a piece of hi-fi, that depends on your turntable and taste. If your record player is strong and recent, I think it will be good. My turntable has a direct drive motor, quartz controlled speed, and is 26 years old. When apllied the stabilizer it somehow slowed dowm the speed, an reduced the high frequencies (circa 16-18kHz) which is one of the the things I like in vinyl playing. On the other hand I was affraid that it would destroy the motor: probably there are no parts available to repair the turntable, like a new motor. On the other hand the stabilizer is beautiful and very well build.
