This beautiful stainless steel Turntable clamp/weight is designed to keep records flat during playback and prevent slipping.
Even if your record looks flat and you use a good turntable mat, adding a clamp/weight will ensure your phono cartridge is able to move through the grooves as accurately as possible.
*Dampens internal resonance of Disc during play and reduces sonic coloration
*Designed for LP's and old 78's
*Increases mass of rotating system to reduce flutter
*Mass couples disc being played to platter
*Permits easier play of warped records

This 'Record Clamp' from Analogue Studio looks incredibly stylish and due to its weight, sits very firmly on your vinyl and reduces movement. I have tried numerous Jazz recordings and the difference is very noticeable with a much more tighter bass and deeper tone. 'The Record Clamp' is beautifully finished in silky smooth stainless steel and velvet base. I highly recommend this amazing product from Analogue Studio.

A very simple useful accesory that makes records sound better. Well done!!!!
This is my favourite clamp/stabilizer so far. I've tried clamps and stabilizers of different sizes and weights and this one, because of its size, height and weight (450gr is suitable for almost every turntable), is the one I like the most. Also the price is right. Analogue Seduction has become one of my preferred online stores, even I do not live in the UK.
I gave the clamp a five star rating for the following reasonsFirstly, it is an incredibly well designed, tactile piece of kit.Secondly, it make a real difference to the sound from records. I have used it on my Rega and truly cannot believe the improvement to soundstage and bass response. Finally, it was delivered to time.

This item is a piece of hi-fi, that depends on your turntable and taste. If your record player is strong and recent, I think it will be good. My turntable has a direct drive motor, quartz controlled speed, and is 26 years old. When apllied the stabilizer it somehow slowed dowm the speed, an reduced the high frequencies (circa 16-18kHz) which is one of the the things I like in vinyl playing. On the other hand I was affraid that it would destroy the motor: probably there are no parts available to repair the turntable, like a new motor. On the other hand the stabilizer is beautiful and very well build.
