ZYX R-100-02H MC Cartridge

A best buy for high end entry level - still typical of the zyx range renownded for it's Koetsu like bass levels and full bodied sound. This cartridge exudes power with it's excellent dynamics and energy.

The Zyx R-100-02H is the second model in the Zyx range, and a true classic among mid-range cartridges.

The Zyx sound could be characterised as supremely lucid, precise, and transparent. Matched with high-quality equipment, Zyx cartridges can produce music with breathtaking realism. Scott Markwell, writing of the Zyx R-100H in AV Guide, said, "It gives me more of a true sense of the music, its essence, if you will, than anything else I have used in the past several years," a description that could apply across the entire Zyx range.

The R-100-02H has an output of 0.48 mV and can be used with most modern tonearms. A special lower-output version, the R-100-02, rated at 0.24 mV, is also available by special order.
