Pro-Ject Stream Box DS

Pro-Ject Streamer Box DS is one of several products released to mark Pro-Ject's 20th anniversary, a high end, future proof media streamer designed to offer hi-fi quality for the multi source savvy music lover, with WiFi and Ethernet support. This model is a high end complimentary product to the Pro-Ject Media Box S or Pro-Ject Bluetooth Box with many additional features.

 

Features include compatibility with UPnP/DLNA servers and playback from formats such as MP3, WMA, AAC and Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and LPCM upto 24-bit/192kHz. It also includes features Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking support designed around a high performance Stream700 module from the Austrian company StreamUnlimited. The result? Probably one of the most natural sounding network players on the market.

RCA analog and digital outputs are included, allowing direct connection to your hi-fi amplifier, music system and/or the optional use of an external DAC. You can also use the USB input to play music from your iPod, iPhone or iPad.
