Origin Live - Rega RB 250/300/600 VTA Adjuster

Origin Live VTA adjuster designed to provide VTA adjustment for Rega tonearms on most turntables. Including Linn and Rega decks

This is an easy way to adjust VTA on Rega RB250, 300 and 600 arms that are fitted to most turntables

It is recommended to use an infinitely adjustable VTA adjuster with the Rega tonearms - the advantages are:

1. Quick adjustment for tuning by ear - it takes a long time to change spacing washers and you can forget the sound differences.

2. Infinite adjustment - height adjustment can be heard to the nearest mm because height accuracy is so important

The "threaded vta adjuster" which will suit all decks. It is simply a thin threaded collar which threads onto the rega arm base. As the collar is rotated up and down it raises and lowers the height of the arm.

This is a clever, inexpensive, solution to a perplexing problem! No more arm removals to insert shims. Simply install the VTA Adjustment Base on your Rega RB250, RB300 or RB600 tone arm or any variants (Origin Live, Moth ), and you can adjust the vertical tracking angle in minute increments without losing the rigid mounting so important to proper sound reproduction. Requires a 24mm diameter mounting hole. This adjuster works well on the Linn LP12. Fortunately Rega decks and many others have this diameter already as the hole for the Rega arm is toleranced sufficiently oversize. The threaded vta adjuster initially raises the height of the rega arm by 2mm due to the top flange thickness - it can then raise the arm further by approx 10mm depending on the thickness of your armboard. ..

Instructions: Loosen the tone arm hold-down nut. Rotate the VTA Adjustment Base to raise or lower the tone arm.
Retighten the hold down nut. So simple!
