Musical Fidelity M3i Integrated Amplifier The most affordable amp from Musical Fidelity. Stunning value and performance The M3-series shares the same new, elegant casework of the M6-series, but in a slightly lower-profile chassis. As with M6, the M3-series front panels are custom extrusions of solid metal finished to a high standard, with knobs and buttons also machined from solid. Fit and finish is impeccable!
The M3i integrated amplifier features its own derivation of the Titan circuit to provide 70wpc into 8ohms, and nearly 140wpc into 4ohm loads. M3i omits the balanced and USB inputs found in the M6i, but it does share its discrete Class-A preamplifier section with its own, independent power supply and transformer windings, preamplifier (variable) outputs, and an input that can be configured for home theater bypass. M3i has a warm, natural character, but would never be considered overly colored-sounding. It has very low distortion and sufficient power to drive all but the most demanding loudspeakers available with ease. It promises to be a real contender for any amplifier anywhere near its price
