The Dynaudio Excite range of speakers is a replacement and step up from the Dynaudio Audience range

The Dynaudio Excite X12 bookshelf speaker comprises legendary Dynaudio innovations such as Magnesium Silicate Polymer (MSP) membranes, die-cast aluminium frame baskets, lightweight aluminium voice coils, and specially coated soft dome tweeters - all united in a new driver design. Improved magnet structures, enhanced voice coils, optimized first-order (6 dB per octave) crossover networks and further refinement of all relevant technical parameters highlight this exacting high performance loudspeaker series: Life-like dynamics, the utmost musical enjoyment, and the highest level of quality and performance ever achieved from systems in this price class
Even the smallest nuances are reproduced precisely and authentically. The silky-smooth yet extremely detailed high frequency performance is due to the further improved Dynaudio specially coated soft dome tweeter, a legend in its own right. It is mounted as close as possible to the mid/bass driver in order to achieve the most precise soundstage, acting as an ideal one-point source of sound - where music simply sounds right. This is also achieved through the finely tuned crossover which, as in every Dynaudio Excite model, features ceramic resistors, air-copper-coils and high quality internal cabling. The impedance is constant and linear over the entire frequency range, thus providing an easy load to any amplifier
The strict use of highly rigid die-cast aluminium driver baskets in all Dynaudio Excite models further enables a clear, pure, undistorted reproduction of music to be achieved
