The Avid Platform is the perfect support for turntables, CD Players, Amplifiers etc. The easy portability of the platform makes set-up of tables with outboard motors and power supplies a breeze. The specially designed Sorbathane suspension will provide excellent isolation and freedom from acoustic and seismic feedback on any turntable or digital player.



The platform was originally intended to support the Diva Turntable.
True to form, Avid were not content with a simple support, wanting to be able to supply an inexpensive Isolation Platform that would benefit turntables and other equipment.
Working with the manufactures of a rubber material called Sorbathane for some 15 years, before they became trendy, it was logical to involve them with a local university to develop a suitable compound to offer excellent all-round performance.
