Luxman L-505uX Integrated Amplifier - Discontinued Model (Was £3500.00)

Timeless Looks, Extraordinary Sound, and Luxurious Refinement Promise You a Lifetime of Musical Realism with the Luxman L-505ux

When you listen to music, you want your system to get out of the way and present music as realistic as the original recorded event. You want the finest quality. You want a legacy of excellence. Unyielding dependability. Luxurious refinement. And extraordinary sound. You want timeless looks and an indestructible metal remote control to operate your system from the comfort of your listening chair. You want an amplifier that you can hand down to the next generation. An heirloom. An instrument that has stood as a best-selling anchor piece for more than three decades. You want - no, you need - a Luxman L-505uX, newly upgraded with significant enhancements.

The Ideal Merger of Old-School Tradition and New-School Technology

In continuous production and refined for more than 30 years, the L-505uX integrated amplifier marries old-school tradition (check out the back-lit power meters) with cutting-edge technology (multiple proprietary features) in a piece hand-built in Japan and designed for the most discerning listeners. Quieter, more liquid, detailed, and nuanced than its internationally acclaimed predecessor, the L-505u, the L-505uX exudes transparency, accuracy, and balance. If rich tones and alluring textures are what you seek, look no further. Superior to comparable separates, this opulent integrated throws a tremendously three-dimensional soundstage that places the artists just feet away. While they appear right before you, you’ll hear passages and cues you never knew existed.

Meaningful Updates and Intuitive Remote Control Enhance Your Experience

Having made a variation of the L-505uX for longer than most high-end companies have been in business, Luxman could have easily rested on its laurels and left the amplifier free of experience-enhancing updates. Instead, the perfectionist manufacturer went all out, adding a LECUA (Luxman Electronic Control Unit Amplification) discrete volume control based on its C-1000f preamplifier. Containing resistors that need to be painstakingly hand-measured, this is no small or inexpensive upgrade. There are no moving parts, no tracking issues, and, incredibly, the same sound no matter the volume levels.

Reference-Quality Phonostage Allows You to Savor Your Vinyl

Luxman spared no expense with its newly redesigned, incredibly resolute, ultra-refined, and fantastic-sounding MM/MC phonostage. Spin LPs to your heart’s content while resting assured that you’ll never desire an outboard unit. Luxman and analog go hand-in-hand. You’ll witness a prolific amount of detail retrieval and warmth emanating from your vinyl collection. And the enhancements don’t end there. Higher-quality speaker terminals are horizontally spread out to ensure effortless access for large cables, an ergonomically designed selector and volume control, and the availability of Line Straight and Separate on the remote make your life easier and music extremely lifelike.
