The mechanical design provides remarkably smooth and seamless style due to the solid aluminium yoke. They also feature memory foam ear cushions for maximum comfort, an essential quality for long listening sessions. Finally, the exclusive speaker drivers with their aluminium/magnesium ‘M’-shaped domes enable Elear to provide strikingly realistic sound. Be inspired by the sound of a high-fidelity system with a pair of Elear headphones, for hours of listening pleasure.

Elear are equipped with the first totally open-backed full-range speaker drivers with aluminium/magnesium ’M’-shaped domes inspired by our Utopia headphones for dynamic and exceptionally precise audio.

The high-end mechanical design of Elear headphones allows the listener to enjoy the best listening conditions and they fit absolutely all ear shapes and sizes

Aluminium yoke, leather headband, microfibre ear cushions: all the materials used for Elear were chosen with care to optimise comfort while reducing the weight of the headphones.

They're good
Thursday, 19 October 2017  |

I have only had the headphones for a fweek - I ran them in with an Isotek system disk for a day, before listening.
I suspect they are still 'tight'.
They are very good headphones and I suspect will improve with time.
I have Utopia speakers and suspect I'm missing the dexterity of the beryllium?
I like the longer than normal lead - though find them headphones sit slightly heavy on my head. Not uncomfortable at all, not overly warm on the ears either.
I use with PS Audio Perfect Wave transport and DAC - the RCA output goes to a Beyerdynamic A1 headhone amp. I use the pre-out on the DAC to control volume.
I'd recommend these headphones.

Worth buying
Friday, 12 May 2017  |

If you listen lots of pop music and EDM, IDM, this pair of headphones trumps HD800 - less microdetails than HD800 and darker sounding, but HD800 can sound thin and distant, whereas Elear has more meaty sound. Elear's soundstage is smaller, but for EDM the punch and presence take the cake. Recommended.
