AudioQuest DragonTail For Android (USB On the Go)

The DragonTail USB adaptor activates USB Host Mode on most Android devices, allowing the devices to transmit USB digital audio to an outboard digital-to-analog converter (DAC).

Using DragonTail to connect to an external USB DAC, such as an AudioQuest DragonFly, will provide greatly improved audio performance.

Audioquest Dragontail OTG USB cable

No quibbles about the sound quality when connected to a Pioneer DAP as source into an Ifi micro isd dac/ headphone amp. The only downside is the apparent draw on the Pioneer's internal battery which expires within 2 or 3 hours, a lot less than when using line out.
