The NRG-1 uses four solid conductors made of high-purity long-grain copper. Solid conductors eliminate interaction between wire strands, which is a major source of distortion in an AC power cable. Every NRG-1 cable features a barrel-shaped RF stopper that filters RFI (radio frequency interference) in both directions. It keeps outside interference from entering your equipment, while also preventing noise generated by your digital equipment from affecting other components in your system.
