Mu-so Qb is a wireless music system alive with innovation.
One of the biggest design challenges with Mu-so Qb was to configure the individual speakers within the smaller cabinet. To achieve that distinctive Naim sound, our engineers had to interrogate every component and adjust speaker angles by the smallest of fractions. It led us to an arrangement of five drivers, offset and angled perfectly to create a left-right dispersion asymmetry. In this arrangement are two microfibre dome tweeters and two mid drivers, all four driven by 50W amplifiers, with rare earth magnets and copper-capped poles for even greater accuracy. And for low frequencies we’ve installed two pistonic passive bass radiators. These work alongside a custom-made woofer that’s driven by a 100W amplifier to create an astonishing bass sound for a system this size. When the speakers and woofer combine, Mu-so Qb amplification can generate an incredible 300 watts.
The Naim control app for iDevices and Android devices puts a world of music at your fingertips. Unite all of your music in one place with the intuitive Naim control app for iOS and Android devices and put millions of songs at your fingertips. You can scratch the surface or go deeper to explore information on artists, discographies, biographies, reviews, image galleries, similar music and more. The app even includes a simple set up wizard so you’ll be online and listening to more music than ever before in no time.
Mu-so Qb is supplied with a Classic Naim Black speaker grille as standard. You can add a new dimension of colour to complement your living space and style. Select from Deep Blue, Vibrant Red and Burnt Orange as pictured.

This is a very neat package which oozes quality both in the manufacturing, finish and sound quality. The sound is amazing given the size of the cube. I suppose the only disappointment for me is that it is very much a "mono" as opposed to stereo sound stage. I also have a B & W Zeppelin in our holiday home, which although bigger and less easy to fit in aesthetically, definitely delivers a much fuller sound stage that the Mu-SO QB.For me therefore, the Mu-So is a compromise - great clarity and bass, but very much a single source sound, but a very unobtrusive package. This compromise is acceptable to me - I didn't have the space to fit a Zeppelin in the space the Mu-So sits. (Its in our kitchen, so space was at a premium and the Zeppelin just wouldn't look nice, whereas the Mu-So is unobtrusive and actually rather beautiful.)The control dial is really nice - an incredible bit of design - it works intuitively and perfectly.Initial set-up was dead simple - just download the app and follow the instructions. It works perfectly with Airplay and Spotify and internet radio. Finally, I would strongly recommend a side by side comparison with other systems before purchasing, just to be sure you are happy with the "mono" sound. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with everything else.

First, the service from the chaps at analogue seduction is second to none, this is the second major purchase I've made from this company, they are courteous, knowledgable , efficient and very very good at making your purchase effortless.Second, the Muso Qb, if you are considering buying, don't dither just do it, it's going to be a classic! It has a very detailed sound without overbearing bass, it has definition that to me sounds accurate, and it plays anything, via its multitude of connections, I have made a wired connection to the Internet via the home hub and the setup was so simple, using the IOS App on my iPad, in fact the hardest part was getting it out of the box! The control app is brilliant in its simplicity, the manual controls are also simple and just a delight to use. It looks like it floats on its transparent base, and it's so stylish, but because of its size it's so easy to place to get the best effects, both sound and looks. In conclusion, just buy it, and buy it from Analogue Seduction!
